These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern use of OppOm.com and the OppOm mobile applications. OppOm is operated as a sole proprietorship in India. By creating an account, browsing profiles, submitting a request, making a booking or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Platform role
OppOm provides a technology platform that may facilitate discovery, communication, meeting requests, bookings, payments and service management between users, caregivers and caregiving agencies. Unless expressly stated in a separate written arrangement, OppOm is not a hospital, emergency service, medical clinic or the direct employer of every caregiver listed.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorised use.
3. Caregiver and agency information
Profiles may contain information submitted by caregivers/agencies or obtained through verification processes. OppOm may review or verify selected information, but no verification process guarantees future conduct, performance, suitability or availability.
4. Bookings
A booking is subject to caregiver/agency availability, acceptance where applicable, the service description, price shown at checkout, and any booking-specific conditions. Users must provide accurate care requirements and service location information.
5. Payments
Payments may be processed through Razorpay or another authorised payment service provider. You authorise the relevant payment provider to process the amount displayed at checkout. Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
6. User conduct
You must not misuse the Platform, impersonate another person, submit false documents, harass users, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with platform security, use the Platform for unlawful purposes or move transactions off-platform to evade applicable platform charges after using OppOm to establish the service relationship.
7. Safety and medical limitations
OppOm does not replace emergency, hospital or professional medical services. Users are responsible for communicating material care needs, allergies, mobility issues, medical instructions and safety requirements to the chosen caregiver/agency. Seek qualified medical advice where required.
8. Content and uploads
You retain responsibility for content you upload and grant OppOm a limited right to host, process and display it as required to operate the Platform. You must have permission to upload documents, images or personal information relating to another person.
9. Intellectual property
OppOm branding, software, interface, graphics and platform content owned by OppOm are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No ownership is transferred to users by use of the Platform.
10. Suspension and termination
OppOm may restrict or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary for security, suspected fraud, policy violations, legal compliance, user safety, non-payment or abuse. Users may request account deletion in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, OppOm is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from third-party conduct, caregiver unavailability, user-provided information, network failures or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims arising from your unlawful use of the Platform, fraudulent information, infringement of third-party rights or material breach of these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer-law rights, disputes should first be raised through OppOm support and grievance channels before court proceedings.
